Sand blasting / Powder Coating

Sandblasting, or Abrasive Grit Blasting, is a surface treatment process that has a wide range of uses. Sandblasting is a process by which a medium is accelerated through a blasting nozzle through means such as compressed air. It can be used to remove rust, paint, scale, sand, or as a step to prepare metals for powder coating.
Powder Coating is a technique that uses an electrostatic powder gun that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. After the powder is applied, it goes in a large oven and “baked” at four hundred degrees. The powder, when heated, melts into a smooth finish, which is then cooled to form the hard protective coating.
